The celebration for grandmas and grandpas as organized by: the head teacher, teachers and Parents Committee. The guests were treated to coffee and cakes, prepared by the middle generation. There also was the chief of commune, Mr Piotr Świderski. Everyone could see a performance of "Malwy", a dancing team from community centre in Wałcz.
Then there were Supergrandma and Supergrandpa elections. The titles went to Mrs Halina Koza (28 grandchildren!) and Mr Jan Steciak (14 grandchildren). In another competition, called "Alfa & Omega Grandpa" five grandfathers together with the chief of commune took part. Grandfathers plaited two tresses to some girls.It was fun and the winner was Mr Paliwoda. The models were very patient. Next title was given to Mrs B. Ćwiek, who was peerless in tossing up a table tennis ball. She bacame a Supergrandma Sportswoman. The best singer was Mrs B. Bielawska and Mr T. Sobczyński. Grandmas had to sing a doughnut recipe and grandpas - a drill usage instructions, to the melody of "Szła dzieweczka do laseczka".
Both grandmas and grandpas were given from their grandchildren presents made of their own hands.
